Something Blue by Tilda
Throughout the years Tilda has collected blue and white pottery in all shapes and sizes and she just loves how the different patterns play off each other when grouped together, creating an energetic and familiar contrast to any room. What fun would it be to make quilts and pillows that create the same effect, or that depict pottery, and this was the inspiration behind Something Blue.
Something Blue has 15 different pattern designs, some repurposed and some new. Most of them are offered in dark-on-light and light-on-dark, to create two colourways. A fun addition to the main collection and blenders are the border fabrics, which allow you to create more realistic patchwork pottery. There is also a fun design with quilt labels and ornaments for decorations in two colourways.
The projects are mainly inspired by pottery collections in keeping with the theme but bear in mind that blue and white works well with so many patterns. For example, just simple squares alternating light and dark fabrics would make a beautiful quilt. Ginger jars and bowls look great with flowers, so there is some appliqué included in this season’s projects.
100% Cotton 112 cm / 44 inches wide
Fabric is cut in 25cm units - e.g., 4 units equals 1 metre. If more than one unit is ordered the fabric will be cut in one continuous length.
By purchasing from this range, you are receiving a quality fabric by an outstanding surface pattern designer supplied from an Australian fabric distributor and a rural business owned solely by women. Thank you for supporting our small business.
